The 10NDG500 is the first of a new generation of dual-gap speakers.
This design significant improves thermal dissipation with using two voice coils on a single former. Better cooling means the voice coil's electrical resistance remains more stable as power increases. This reduces power compression and can lead to more output at high power levels compared to standard drivers.
The dual-gap structure creates a perfectly symmetric magnetic flux density. This ensures the "motor strength" (Bl factor) remains consistent even during large cone displacements, significantly reducing even-order harmonic distortion.
The 10NDG500 neodymium loudspeaker combining good linearity and efficiency with high power handling capabilities, with use of 64 mm dual aluminum voice coil. It features curvilinear paper cone with water protection (front), aluminium die cast frame with vented neodymium magnet structure. The extremely low weight (2.9 kg) makes the 10NDG500 perfect component for line arrays and compact 2- way PA boxes.
